Medical Analyst Joins Board
Leading medical market analyst and academic Dr Philip Drury has
joined the board of The Medical House. The appointment sees this
group of medical services companies strengthening its already
formidable line-up of commercial and medical talent.
As one of the countrys leading medical academics and with
a vast array of commercial experience, Dr Drury (51) will advise
the group on industry trends and the viability of certain projects
from a commercial medical perspective.
The Sheffield-based group of companies includes orthopaedic instrument
manufacturer Eurocut, computer aided design consultancy
Creative Medical Design, the UKs major dental information
service company DERWeb and a principal source of
medical and health reference material on the Internet Healthworks.
The latest addition, Medical House Publishing, sells
software licensing and leading-edge medical content such as Computer
Aided Learning. Dr Drury has acted as a Consultant to Eurocut
for some time.
Chief Executive of The Medical House, Ian Townsend, welcomed
Dr Drury on board:

The appointment is the latest commercial chapter for Dr Drury
who has published scores of reports and books in a distinguished
career, taking him from Aston and Nottingham Universities to head
up some of the UKs top research, academic and commercial medical
positions.
